Flights over Bavarian lakes: this route takes you over the state capital Munich, Andechs Monastery and the entire Fünfseenland region. Experience the uniquely beautiful location of Munich and the Starnberg region from the air.
Flights over Bavarian lakes starts from our ALPEN AIR terminal, we fly over Dachau towards Munich. From a height of only 600 meters, we can see the world-famous Allianz Arena of FC Bayern Munich and soar over the English Garden, the German Museum and the Theresienwiese to Marienplatz. In the old town, we discover the Frauenkirche, the town hall and the Munich Residence. At slow speed we fly over Nymphenburg Palace and enjoy the view of the futuristic BMW World and the architecturally unique Olympic Stadium with its 291-metre-high Olympic Tower.
Finally, we leave the Isar and the Würmtal valley behind us and enjoy the fabulous bird’s eye view of the crystal-clear Lake Starnberg. In the area of Roseninsel, the water shimmers in the most beautiful shades of green and, with good visibility, we discover the Alps!
Shortly afterwards, we reach the pilgrimage site of Andechs Monastery, which is enthroned on the “Holy Mountain”, while Lake Ammersee glistens in the background.
The beautiful flights over Bavarian lakes brings you to Upper Bavarian bathing lakes Ammersee, Pilsensee and Wörthsee, with their different sizes and variety of colors, are the crowning glory of our sightseeing flight. Once you have found the right sightseeing flight for you on our ALPEN AIR website, you can conveniently pay for it online with PayPal, giropay or SOFORT transfer. Your booking or voucher will be valid only after full payment.
We only fly in good flying weather. We offer you not only the highest possible flight safety, but also the best possible view and a pleasant flying experience. Therefore, we do not fly in adverse weather conditions such as poor visibility, thunderstorms and severe turbulence. If a sightseeing flight cannot take place, we will contact you at the latest the day before your booked flight and look for an alternative with you. On the day of the flight itself, the pilot will make the final decision as to whether the flight can be made safely. If a flight is postponed, your ticket or voucher will of course remain valid or you can cancel your trip, free of charge. Minimum number of participants: 6 people
