From our ALPEN AIR terminal, the journey begins by flying over the outer districts of Augsburg toward the city center. Shortly after takeoff, and from an altitude of just 600 meters, iconic landmarks such as the world-famous Fuggerei and Augsburg Cathedral come into view. Meanwhile, we gently float above the WWK Arena and the MAN factories, which, in turn, offer a fascinating perspective on the city’s modern and industrial side. In addition, as the flight continues toward the old town, the Basilica of St. Ulrich and Afra, the historic town hall, the Perlachturm tower and Maximilianstraße gradually unfold below, one after another.
Afterwards, we slowly leave the city center behind and, at the same time, cross the Lech River. As a result, a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of the Western Woods Nature Park near Augsburg opens up.
