Short description sightseeing flight

A perfect flight to get to know Bavaria’s sights, the famous Zugspitze, the fairytale royal castle of Neuschwanstein and the Allianz Arena, home of FC Bayern, in a short time during the Oktoberfest.

On this route, you will experience the full diversity of the Bavarian Alpine foothills. The Allianz Arena, countless beautiful lakes, spectacular mountain peaks in the Alps and Neuschwanstein Castle will make time fly by at your window seat, but the memories will stay with you forever.

Our transfer will pick you up in Munich city center and take you to Augsburg Airport. From our ALPEN AIR terminal in Augsburg, the flight takes us via Dachau to Munich in the Bavarian metropolis. We fly at slow speed over the Allianz Arena of FC Bayern Munich, which is particularly worth seeing from the air, and enjoy a view of Nymphenburg Palace and the architecturally unique Olympic Stadium as well as the 291-metre-high Olympic Tower.

We fly along the Würmtal valley to Lake Starnberg and can already see the Alps in the background with good visibility!
We then fly over the picturesque Bavarian Alpine foothills with their crystal-clear lakes. First we admire the Osterseen lakes, which often glow in magnificent colors, shortly afterwards we catch sight of the Riegsee and Staffelsee lakes before we reach the northern edge of the Alps.

From now on, highlights await us every minute. Lake Kochelsee is followed by the emerald-green Walchensee with the Herzogsstand on one side and the rugged Benediktenwand on the other. We pass Mittenwald with impressive views of the massive Karwendel mountains and head towards Schloss Elmau. We soon reach Garmisch-Partenkirchen and even from the air you can clearly see the ski jumps. At the same time, the imposing Zugspitze - Germany's highest mountain at 2,962 meters - towers majestically in front of us. The summit is close enough to touch as we fly past and you can almost wave to the visitors at the mountain station, while the deep blue Eibsee lake flashes towards us at the foot of the Zugspitze.

Heading northwest, the Ammergau Alps pass beneath us and we pass the idyllic Plansee lake in the middle of the mountains. While we are still captivated by the breathtaking view of the Alps, the fairytale Neuschwanstein Castle lies at our feet, impressively enthroned against the mountain backdrop and above Lake Forggensee. Enjoy this breathtaking view of the world-famous castle with its unique location from your personal window seat.

We then follow the Lech for a short distance and pass Hohenpeißenberg. Having previously seen Lake Starnberg from the air, we offer you the most beautiful views of the rest of the Fünfseenland region as a worthy finale. We will show you the Andechs Monastery, which sits majestically on the "Holy Mountain", the mighty Ammersee, the dreamy Pilsensee and the Caribbean-turquoise Wörthsee from their best sides. By the time we land safely in Augsburg, time will have flown by. With unforgettable images in your luggage, you will be reluctant to disembark from our comfortable plane full of emotions. Your transfer to Munich is already waiting for you.
